Consultation has concluded

Council has resolved to exhibit proposed amendments to Canterbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 that relates to land at 15-33 Brighton Avenue, Croydon Park.

The purpose of the planning proposal is to:

  • Rezone the land from Light Industrial IN2 to High Density Residential R4;
  • Introduce maximum building heights of part 14 metres and part 17.5 metres across the site; and
  • increase the maximum Floor Space Ratio from 1:1 to 1.4:1.

Council has also resolved to prepare proposed amendments to Canterbury Development Control Plan 2012 in relation to the same land.

This exhibition commences on Tuesday 31 October 2017 and can also be viewed at Council’s Campsie Customer Service Centre, 137 Beamish Street, Campsie and Bankstown Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor Civic Tower, 66-72 Rickard Road, Bankstown.

Submissions closed 5.00pm on Friday 25 November 2017.

The Minister for Planning has not delegated the making of this Plan to Council.
