Background

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, Canterbury-Bankstown Council is advertising its intention to grant the following Licence, as expressly authorised by Council’s Generic Plan of Management.

Council proposes to grant a Licence to Sydney Local Health District to operate the Campsie Early Childhood Health Centre at 2 Carrington Street, Campsie.

The subject site is classified as Community Land, and as such, the granting of a licence for the purpose of operating essential community services, is consistent with both the core objectives for the land as described in the Local Government Act 1993 and Council’s Generic Plan of Management.

Facilitating the relocation of Campsie Early Childhood Health Centre to the Carrington Centre will enable the unrestricted delivery of the new Campsie Hub whilst ensuring continuity of essential family services for the community.
