Walking and Cycling for Active Transport

Consultation has concluded

Walking and Cycling are healthy and sustainable ways of getting around. In preparing a strategy to encourage more walking and cycling for active transport, Bankstown Council would need to know about our community’s current attitudes regarding these modes.

This strategy is an action based on the 'Community Plan 2023 – Connected Chapter' and forms a part of a wider Strategic Transport Plan (STP 1) for the Bankstown LGA, which Council is currently developing.

Council would appreciate your time (about 5 min) to indicate your attitudes towards walking and cycling. Please take a moment to complete the Walking and Cycling Survey. Furthermore, you are invited to highlight specific locations and leave comments on in the interactive mapper.
