Consultation has concluded

Homelea Avenue Bowling Club Site Works

Last year, Council ran an Expression of Interest (EOI) process for the future community use of the former bowling club site at 22 Homelea Avenue, Panania. Unfortunately this process was not successful.

In considering the best way forward, Council has decided to return the site to open space. This decision means there will be more recreation space for residents to enjoy a range of outdoor activities.

As part of the works, the main building and bowling greens will be demolished and the site turfed. There will also be some minor landscaping works. The existing car park will be retained.

What's next?

  • Council will hold a drop in information session onsite on SUnday 26 July 2020 10am - 12pm for those interested in learning more about the proposed works
  • The old building will be demolished and the area returned to open space as part of the 2020/21 capital works program.

We now ask you to submit your comments and feedback on the concepts so as to assist us in the development of this space.

The exhibition period for this community consultation for 22 Homelea Avenue Panania, former bowling club was on exhibition till the 31 July 2020 at 5pm.

Thank you to all those who have provided their feedback. Submissions are now closed and under review with Council.
