How to get involved and join the Have Your Say Community

Kombi

The City of Canterbury Bankstown is committed to building and strengthening meaningful engagement with our community. We know an open, honest, and on-going dialogue with you ensures we make good decisions for the future.

Your feedback helps us to better understand what is important to you and, make sure the services and community facilities we provide in the future continue to meet your needs. We want to hear from a broad range of people from our community as all voices are important.

To enable this, we developed this website, Have Your Say (HYS).

By joining the HYS Community you will be able to review and provide feedback on key projects, plans and strategies. These include (but are not limited to):

  • Town centre and land use planning;
  • Concept designs for upgrades at community facilities, parks and playgrounds; and
  • Traffic and safety upgrade proposals.

To join Have Your Say click on the

Pink Log In Join Button

button on the top right-hand side of the homepage. Then complete your details, including selecting a password.

By joining Have Your Say, you will be able to easily follow projects that are of interest to you, which you set up when joining. These interests could include new projects in the suburb you live in, arts and culture, or our local parks.

It will also make your future feedback quicker, as your information will already be pre-filled.

Don't worry if contributing digitally isn't your preference, we also provide other ways to provide feedback. These include:

  • Pop-up community information sessions where you can speak with a project expert;
  • Project workshops - face-to-face and virtual; and
  • On-site surveying and interviewing.

These activities tend to be project specific and the details of these sessions will be posted on the project’s Have Your Say page.

You can find out more about a project you're interested in by clicking on the individual project pages on the Have Your Say home page.
