Consultation has concluded

Proposed classification of land to be acquired by Council.

For the purposes of Sections 31 and 34 of the Local Government Act1993, and pursuant to Council’s resolution at its meeting of 25 July 2017, notice is given of Council’s intention to pass the following resolution at a future meeting

That the part of the land at the corner of Washington Avenue and Kentucky Road Riverwood described as Lot 2 DP 1228475, being the new library/café, community hub and associated car parking component of the “Trinity”building, be classified, on and from its date of acquisition, as operational land for the purposes of Part 2 of Chapter 6 of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW).

Written submissions may be made to Council with respect to its intention up to and including close of business on Friday 20 October 2017, addressed to the General Manager, Canterbury Bankstown Council, PO Box 8 Bankstown NSW 1885 (Attention:-Property and Investment Section). Further information concerning the proposal is available for perusal on Council’s website, by visiting Council’s Customer Services branches at either Rickard Road Bankstown or Beamish Street Campsie or by contacting a Council officer directly on 9789 9435 between 9.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
