Consultation has concluded

Background

We are planning to upgrade Abbott Park Children’s Playground, which is at 187 Miller Road, Chester Hill. The upgrade aims to offer a new and improved play area with increased amenities for local families and visitors.

This proposal

We are now seeking feedback and comments from the community for the concept design.

The upgrade includes:

  • Planting new trees
  • Updating play equipment for children of all ages, with a multi-unit play tower, sensory board, seesaw, activity trail and combination swing (baby seat, standard and basket)
  • Installing new surfacing (with softfall mulch and rubber softfall)
  • Installing new shelter and picnic setting

The exhibition and feedback collection will be open from 03 February to 17 February 2025.

Construction is planned to commence during this financial year.
