Canterbury Bankstown residents with a disability, along with their carers and supporters, are encouraged to make their voices heard on Council's services and amenities.

Council will be holding multiple rounds of community consultations via surveys and in person, to develop a local Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) in line with the requirements of the NSW Disability Inclusion Act (2014).

The community consultation program began on 24 October with a survey for families with young children, and one for adults and young people. Surveys closed on 10 December 2016 with over 126 responses received.
