Consultation has concluded

At the Ordinary Meeting on 26 June 2018, Canterbury-Bankstown Council endorsed a new Drainage Reserves Administration Policy. This Policy will supersede the Drainage Reserves Disposal Policy adopted by Council in June 2017 and has been developed in order to ensure;

  • Council applies a consistent and considered approach to managing Council’s broader drainage reserves network across the LGA.
  • the policy is applied transparently, equitably and impartially to all entitled owners adjoining Council’s drainage reserves.
  • the policy corrects anomalies and effectively administers the occupation and/or disposal of surplus drainage reserves in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.
  • an aligned approach to the registration of minor easements over Council drainage reserves.
