Background

We are planning to upgrade Fairmount Street Reserve Playground, which is at 25 Fairmount Street, Lakemba. The upgrades offer a new and improved play area with more facilities for local families and visitors.

This proposal

We are seeking feedback and comments from the community for the concept design.

The upgrade includes:

  • Updating play equipment for children of all ages, with swings, climbing apparatus, a slide and springer
  • Planting new trees
  • Installing new seating
  • Replacing drinking fountain
  • Replacing fencing for safety
  • Adding new pole lights

The exhibition and feedback collection will be open from 3 March 2025 to 21 March 2025.

Construction planning to start this financial year.
