Consultation has concluded


On 27 January 2022, a Development Application was lodged to Council (DA-1066/2021) at 2 Christina Road, Villawood. The application is threatened species development. The application, has a Capital Investment Value greater than $30m, will be determined by the Sydney South Planning Panel on behalf of Council. The applicant is Villawood Devco Pty Ltd.

2 Christina Road

This proposal

Specifically, the DA seeks development consent for the following:

  • Demolition of existing structures and site clearing;
  • Site remediation, contamination management, and earthworks;
  • Construction of 12 warehouse buildings for storage, handling, and distribution of items comprising:
  • Primary warehouse floor areas and ancillary office areas with Cantilevered or super awnings and Dedicated hardstand areas for each tenancy;
  • 24 hours operations;
  • Combination of on-grade and recessed docks optimised to ensure seamless loading;
  • Solar installations on each warehouse roof
  • Construction of internal access roads;
  • Three vehicular access points into the site via Christina Road;
  • Landscaping including retention of existing native vegetation in the north west portion of the site and landscaping to Christina Road frontage;
  • Hardstand car parking areas providing up to 358 spaces;
  • Provision of two electrical substations;
  • Stormwater infrastructure and utilities;
  • Associated site works.
