Consultation has concluded


The City of Canterbury Bankstown is planning to upgrade the Roma Reserve playground, which is at 13 Playford Rd, Padstow Heights. According to Council’s ‘Playgrounds and Play Spaces Strategic Plan’, the play level of Roma Reserve playground will be increased from level 3 to level 2 (Page 120).

This proposal

We are now seeking feedback and comments from the community for the concept design. The upgrade includes:

  • Upgrading existing play equipment;
  • Incorporate nature play into the design;
  • Adding concrete path connecting the existing pedestrian path to the playground;
  • Seating and bin upgrade;
  • Planting new trees as buffer.

The exhibition and feedback collection will be open from 1st December 2023 to 29th January 2024.
