Background

We are planning to upgrade the Werona Avenue Reserve playground, which is at 19 Werona Avenue, Punchbowl. The upgrade aims to offer a new and improved play space for local families and visitors.

This proposal

We are now seeking feedback and comments from the community for the concept design.

The upgrade includes:

  • Planting new trees
  • Updating play equipment for children of all ages, with a multi-unit play tower, sensory board, seesaw, activity trail, and combination swing (baby seat, standard, and basket)
  • Installing new surfacing (with softfall mulch, synthetic turf, and asphalt)
  • Replacing fencing around the stormwater drainage pit to increase safety

For further details, please refer to the concept plan.

The exhibition and feedback collection will be open from 11 February 2025 to 28 February 2025.

Construction is planned to commence during this financial year.
