The Campsie Town Centre planning proposal puts Council’s Campsie Master Plan into action. It builds on Campsie’s strengths – its proximity to central Sydney, location on the Cooks River, Canterbury Hospital and a vibrant main street – to support 7,500 new jobs and 6,360 additional homes in the surrounding area by 2036.

The proposal includes changes to land zoning, building heights, floor space ratios and other planning controls in the Canterbury-Bankstown Local Environmental Plan 2023 (CBLEP 2023). These controls shape what can be built and how land is used in the Campsie Town Centre.
