This plan

Council is preparing an Action Plan to guide us in accomplishing the vision and Directions set out in the Resilient CBCity Strategic Plan.

Over the last few years, the CBCity community has experienced unprecedented climate events including heatwaves, storms, floods, and bushfires, as well as a global health pandemic. At the same time, many people in our community experience daily pressures such as financial and housing stress, lack of transport options, and social isolation that can make it harder to cope when emergencies happen.

With more than 500,000 people expected to be living in CBCity by 2036, it is more important than ever that our City and community is resilient and able to adapt, survive and thrive no matter what challenges we may face.

Council will undertake community and stakeholder consultation over the coming months to inform the development of the Action Plan.

If you would like to help us shape the Action Plan, please complete the community survey and register your interest in participating in future activities below. Each person who completes the survey will go into the draw to win one of three $100 gift cards!
