Background

All councils are required to produce a range of plans known as Integrated Planning and Reporting (IPR) documents. These documents bring together various plans to identify the highest priorities for the City and Council. These plans reflect that the City is always changing and that decisions made today may take a long time before we see their results.

At the 28 April 2026 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council authorised the exhibition of the following documents, which we are now seeking your feedback on:

  • CBCity 2029 – Revised Delivery Program 2025-29 and new Operational Plan 2026/27
  • Financial Management Strategy 2026-36
  • Asset Management Strategy 2026-36

You can have your say on these documents from Wednesday 29 April-Wednesday 27 May 2026.

CBCity 2029 and Resourcing Strategy

  • CBCity 2029 – the Revised Delivery Program (2025-29) demonstrates how Council will deliver on making CB2036 a reality and the priorities for Council during its term of office (this document has had minor revisions only).
  • The Operational Plan (2026/27) identifies specific services and projects for 2026/27. It also sets rates, fees and charges and provides the detailed budget for the year. This document has been newly prepared.
  • The Resourcing Strategies for Assets and Finance ensure that the necessary resources are available to implement the Delivery Program and Operational Plan. These documents have been newly prepared.
