• Letterbox drop to residents and property owners close to the park

What we heard

20 responses were received and 14 unique submissions from people directly impacted by the proposal were considered.

Of the 14 valid submissions:

Key issues raised were: 

• loss of on-street parking for residents  

• displacement of long-term parking to nearby streets  

 Suggestions from respondents included:  

• residential parking permit scheme  

• vehicle-specific controls  

Following community consultation, Council directed the Traffic Services Unit to investigate alternative parking measure(s).
