SASSi Campsie, Streets as Shared Spaces program, aims to encourage stronger pedestrian links from Beamish Street through to Anzac Park, enhancing active transport access and safety to Campsie Station and surrounding areas.

The proposed temporary short-term traffic trials during September 2022 to February 2023 will consist of;

  • the creation of Anzac Square shared zone with on-street graphic treatments;
  • Anzac Square shared zone speed reduction from 50kms to 10kms per hour speed limit & signage;
  • new sidewalk parklet adjacent to existing disabled car spaces (south);
  • relocation of two (2) loading zone spaces; and
  • reduction of two (2) x 2hr parking spaces.
