Draft Open Space Strategy for the former City of Canterbury

Consultation has concluded. If you have any further questions about this project please contact Council on 9707 9999.

We have prepared a new Draft Open Space Strategy for the former City of Canterbury. The new strategy has been developed to guide the future provision, development and management of all open space areas across the former City of Canterbury for the next 20 years.

The strategy relates to all types of open space including river areas, parks and playgrounds, sportsgrounds and natural areas.

We invite your comments on the Draft Open Space Strategy. The Draft Plan will be on exhibition from 30 November 2016 - 3 February 2017.

To view a copy of the Draft Open Space Strategy online please click here, or download a copy from the document library on the right hand side of this page.

The plan can be viewed in person at Council's Customer Service Centres in both Bankstown and Campsie.
