Bankstown City Council is proud of the level of resident satisfaction in the delivery of services it provides to ratepayers (2014 Community Satisfaction Survey conducted by independent analyst Micromex - 92% of residents are satisfied with Council’s performance).

However, we know we can do even better and are always looking at ways to do so as we pursue our vision of A Culture, Place and City of Excellence. This includes at our four Leisure and Aquatic Centres located at Birrong, Greenacre, Revesby and Villawood, which provide a range of services and attract more than 400,000 visits per annum.

We are commencing the process of developing a Long Term Plan for the future provision of community Leisure and Aquatic facilities and services. This will involve analysing their current use, age and condition of the facilities, and projected population forecasts in our City.
