Background
Following the adoption of the 2021/2022 Operational Plan and Fees and Charges, Council identified a number of fees and charges that were omitted at the time of the public exhibition period.
At the 27July 2021 Ordinary Meeting, Council authorised the public exhibition of the fees and charges that were not included in the exhibited version of the Schedule of Fees and Charges 2021-22 for exhibition for 28 days in accordance with Section 610F of the Local Government Act NSW 1993.
Council will consider submissions received over this exhibition before the fees can be adopted or imposed.
This proposal
Detailed below are newly proposed or materially changed fees related to the services delivered by the Recreation team which are critical for the hire of recreation and community facilities such as:
- Synthetic grass fields (Open Facility) weekday and weekend use and
- Cricket – all synthetic nets.
Also included are definitions for “concession" and " student entry” related to Leisure and Aquatic Centres users and, an updated schedule for personal training fees and charges ensuring these fees reflect value for money for the community and are in line with comparable services in the market.

| CHILD/STUDENT ENTRY | All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 18 years of age. This is consistent with the Royal Life Saving "Keep Watch @ Public Pools" program which all Canterbury-Bankstown Council Leisure and Aquatic Centres are partners of. All children aged between 5 and 17 years, as well as customers with a valid tertiary education card. |
