Following the adoption of the 2021/2022 Operational Plan and Fees and Charges, Council identified a fee and charge that was omitted at the time of the public exhibition period.

At the 24 August 2021 Ordinary Meeting, Council authorised the public exhibition of a fee and charge that were not included in the exhibited version of the Schedule of Fees and Charges 2021-22 for exhibition for 28 days in accordance with Section 610F of the Local Government Act NSW 1993.

Council will consider submissions received over this exhibition before the fee can be adopted or imposed.

Detailed below is the newly proposed fee related to the services delivered by the Development Unit which is critical for the delivery of pre-lodgement advice in relation to Regionally Significant Development Applications. This results from Council’s inclusion in a pilot program launched by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry & Environment for faster assessment times for this class of development applications.
