The Campsie Hub will be the new home of the Campsie Library and Knowledge Centre, Customer Service Centre and a meeting place for the Campsie community. The project will include a standalone Music Centre with recording and rehearsal spaces.

The Campsie Hub will be located on Council’s existing Civic Centre site and is a centre-piece of the adopted Campsie Town Centre Master Plan, delivering important community infrastructure to meet the growing needs of current and future residents.

Council has commissioned award-winning architects, Studio Hollenstein, to lead the detailed investigations and preparation of a concept design for the multi-purpose building and surrounding public spaces.

We’re excited to now share the initial concept design for public feedback. The Campsie Hub project will deliver the construction of a new building to include:

  • Library with a dedicated children’s area, study spaces and meeting rooms
  • Community spaces and rooms
  • Multi-level reading rooms
  • Customer Service Centre
  • Large community space with the opportunity for Council meetings
  • New Campsie plaza
  • Ground floor café
  • Music Centre

We’ve created this design based on previous community engagement undertaken for the Campsie Masterplan, technical studies and design opportunities. We’re now working closely with Government stakeholders, local businesses, interest groups and community members to collect feedback to help finalise the concept design.

Have your say by completing the online survey below, attending one of our pop-up sessions, visiting the interactive space in Campsie Library or Customer Service Centre or emailing your submission.

The Campsie Hub and Music Centre are being delivered by CBCity. The Campsie Hub project is funded by the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program in association with the City of Canterbury Bankstown. The Music Centre is funded by the Australian Government (Priority Community Infrastructure Program) in association with the City of Canterbury Bankstown.
