Consultation has concluded

All local government organisations in NSW are required to meet the 10 NSW Child Safe Standards by 1 February 2023. We also need to promote child safety within the community.

The child safe organisation project itself has been underway for the past 2 years at CB City. As well as a legal requirement it is linked to our Safe & Strong plan. Community feedback has already been provided on two previous documents. Here is the link to view all Child Safe material that has been developed.

This is a newly developed policy, "Child Safe Complaint Handling”, as required by the Office of the Children’s Guardian to assist Council in meeting the NSW Child Safe Standards.
