Notes on feedback received

As a result of the feedback received a number of changes were made to the Plan following public exhibition. In addition to minor administration changes such as reference corrections, grammar
and clarifications, the Plan has also been updated to:

  • Include a new direction for owner-initiated planning proposals including State Government led initiatives that result in higher population forecast than those identified in the Plan to be supported by community infrastructure analysis
  • Include a new direction for new lease agreements to be accompanied by a Building Condition Asset Report to reflect existing Council processes
  • Include a new direction to ensure that the principles of the Plan apply to new assets not currently identified in the Plan and
  • To provide additional notations to reflect assets that are heritage items listed under the Canterbury-Bankstown Local Environmental Plan 2023.
