Consultation has concluded

Background

The Community Participation Plan establishes how Council engages with the community in carrying out its land use planning functions. Council adopted its Community Participation Plan in 2019.

This proposal

Let us know what you think of our draft administrative amendments to the Community Participation Plan, which have been identified through the day to day operation and use of the Community Participation Plan. Our key aim is to update the document to align with State legislation changes.

Some of the draft administrative amendments include:

  • Updating and customising the exhibition requirements for Council’s statutory and strategic planning functions.
  • Providing additional guidance on exhibition periods for certain development applications and amended plans.
  • Streamlining the document to make it easier to read and understand.

You are encouraged to read the draft amendments to see if there are any aspects relevant to you.
