Consultation has concluded

Council is excited to share its draft Nature Strip Gardens and Adopt-A-Garden Policy and Guidelines. The existing Nature Strip Gardens Policy is being expanded to include an Adopt-A-Garden program. This Policy allows residents to beautify their local area, and support the flourishment of native flora and fauna through planting on the nature strip directly in front of their homes, or in mutually agreed upon pockets of Council land, such as parks or reserves. The community has previously provided feedback on the existing Nature Strip Gardens Policy. Feedback in this round of engagement will be incorporated into the revised draft Policy.
