Thank you to those that provided feedback on the draft Planning Agreement and draft Explanatory Note for the site at 165, 167 and 185 Hume Highway, Greenacre.

As part of the Planning Agreement between Council and the proponent, 600m² of the site that will be zoned RE1 Public Recreation Zone will be dedicated to Council, at no cost, to increase the adjacent Peter Reserve to a larger public park of approximately 1,200m². The amendments sought under this report do not change the outcome of the Planning Proposal supported and address administrative issues only.

The draft Planning Agreement and draft Explanatory Note were endorsed by Council at the 23 May 2023 Ordinary Meeting. Council has also resolved to proceed with the amendments to the VPA. See Agenda/Minutes, Item 5.4.
