Background

Council is developing a plan for the Griffith Park Precinct for the next 20 years. We are at the very beginning of the process so we want to hear your ideas for improvements to the park, streets and community spaces.

The Precinct includes Griffith Park (the green space & trees), the playground, the Bankstown Arts Centre, parts of Olympic Parade and Dale Parade, Brandon Avenue Car Park and the bowls club. See the map below for the area we want to talk to you about.

Some of the things we would like to hear from you are:

  • How you go to the area now, or why you don’t go there?
  • What types of things would you like to be able to do here in the future?
  • What improvements you would like to see in the park, streets, and community spaces that would encourage you to use the Precinct more often?

Your feedback will help us to know what to protect and celebrate as well as give us ideas about how Griffith Park could be improved in the future. It will also help us to create some ‘rules’ for a design competition early next year.
