Background

At the 6 December 2022 Ordinary Meeting, Council authorised the public exhibition of this proposed licence agreement in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993.

The property is located in Revesby/Bunya Ward at 26A Childs Street, Panania and is classified community land.

Public Notice - New Licence Agreements

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, Canterbury-Bankstown Council is advertising its intention to grant the following licences, as expressly authorised by Council’s Deepwater Park and Kelso Parklands Plan of Management.

Details for the new Licence Agreements for Panania -East Hills RSL Club at 26A Childs Street, Panania are:

  • Council is proposing to enter into two licence agreements with Panania -East Hills RSL Club to allow the continued use of the netball court, cricket nets and sundry infrastructure, and sealed carpark at 26A Childs Street, Panania – being part of Lot 20 DP 859405;
  • The licensed areas are outlined in red and blue in the aerial photograph below;
  • The term of the proposed licences will be for periods of twenty-one (21) years (for the red outlined area) and five (5) years (for the blue outlined area); and
  • The proposed licensee will be the Panania-East Hills RSL Club Limited, trading as Panania Diggers.
