Consultation has concluded

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 1993, the City of Canterbury Bankstown (Council) is advertising its intention to grant the following Lease, as expressly authorised by Council’s Generic Plan of Management.

Council proposes to grant a Lease to the Korean Society of Sydney to allow their continued use of the former Croydon Park Bowling Club to provide a range of services and programs for the community at 82 Brighton Avenue, Croydon Park – being part of Lot 1 DP 1111695.

The site is on Crown Land which, in accordance with the Crown Land Management Act, is to be dealt with by Councils as if it is “community-classified” public land. The granting of a Lease for the current proposal is consistent with both the core objectives for the land as prescribed by the Local Government Act 1993 and the Plan of Management applicable to the subject land (Council’s Generic Plan of Management).

Term: Five (5) years with a further five (5) year option

Lessee: The Korean Society of Sydney
