Background

At the 23 August 2022 Ordinary Meeting, Council authorised the public exhibition of this proposed lease in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993. The property is located in Bunya Ward at 2 Maxwell Avenue, Milperra and is classified community land.

The current lease expired on 30 August 2022. The Lessee is seeking a new five-year lease.

This proposal

Notice is hereby given that Canterbury-Bankstown Council, in accordance with Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993 (“Act”) proposes to grant a lease over community land with the following particulars:

Lessee: Heartbreak Ridge Paintball Pty Ltd

Address: 2 Maxwell Avenue, Milperra

Term: 5 years (expiring in 2027)

Option: Nil

Legal description: Folio Identifier 300/788249

Purpose: Conducting activities specifically related to paint ball being the current use.
