Consultation has concluded

Gough Whitlam Park is a Crown Lands reserve managed by the City of Canterbury-Bankstown. It contains parkland, playgrounds, a sports field, a car park and amenities.

The kiosk is a brick building of approximately 55 square metres in size located towards the eastern end of the reserve between the playground and the sports field.

The Proposal

Notice is hereby given of the formal public exhibition of a proposed lease and licence to NP Catering Pty Limited (ABN 68 168 102 163) to use the kiosk in Gough Whitlam Park at 177-205 Bayview Avenue, Earlwood (Part Lot 7009 DP 93565).

Under the proposed lease, the lessee is to use the kiosk building to establish and operate a café. The tenant will also have a licence to use approximately 144 square metres of the park land adjacent to the building to the west for the purposes of setting out tables and chairs associated with the café operation. The term of the proposed lease and licence is five years.

Exhibition Period

The proposal was on exhibition from 18 December 2019 to 24 January 2020.
