Background

CBCity is investing in a significant upgrade to Thomas Street Reserve, a beloved community park located at 330 The River Road in Revesby Heights.

The project aims to revitalise both the tennis courts and play space, creating a safer, more modern, and inclusive recreational space for residents of all ages. These upgrades will make Thomas Street Reserve a safer and more inviting destination for everyone to enjoy.

We encourage the community to actively participate in the design process.

We want to create a park that's truly special, and we need your help to make it happen. Attend our community sessions to share your thoughts and ideas, or submit them online. Let's work together to build a park that reflects the unique character of our community.

Thomas Street Reserve Upgrades

The upgrades at Thomas Street Reserve will focus on both the tennis courts and play space to create a more cohesive and accessible space for all ages and abilities. Key proposals include:

  • Replacement of damaged fencing with durable materials, slightly raised to prevent moisture and debris accumulation.
  • Repainting of existing fence posts for added resilience and aesthetics.
  • Removal and replacement of damaged tennis nets and unused umpire chairs.

Playground Upgrade:

  • Replacement of outdated equipment with modern, inclusive play items for children of all ages and abilities.
  • Replacement of the worn timber edging with a durable concrete border.
  • Upgraded playground furniture for improved comfort.
  • Installation of new pathways to enhance accessibility.
