Consultation has concluded

The site at 149-171 Milton Street Ashbury is occupied by light industrial uses and backs on to WH Wagner Oval.

Council has determined to take over the planning for the site, which will set height, density and access points for future development at the site. Council is proposing this site makes way for revitalised future housing requirements, in keeping with the aesthetics of the area.

Council submitted a proposal to the Department of Planning and Environment, and this has been assessed. A Gateway Determination has been made, which means that the Proposal has merit to be exhibited. Following this community consultation, a final decision on the Proposal will be made by Council taking into account any received comments and/or submissions. Importantly any future development will still be required to be assessed through the full Development Application process which will also include public consultation.
