We’ve begun preparing the Canterbury-Bankstown Positive Ageing Plan 2021–2024, which will guide the work we do to support seniors living in our City.
We update this strategy every few years to ensure that our approach remains relevant and appropriate to the changing needs of our senior residents.
About the plan
The new plan will guide a large range of services for seniors in the City of Canterbury Bankstown including social and community groups, activities and events as well as local health, community, advocacy, and aged care services.
How to have your say
The Positive Ageing Panel, made up of local seniors, service providers and carers,is guiding Council on how to involve the community in this project.
Later in 2020 we will share an online survey, hold face-to-face local community consultations, and create other ways for you to have your say.
