Draft amendments to Canterbury Development Control Plan 2012: 194-214 Lakemba Street, 5-9 Croydon Street, 53-55 Railway Parade, Lakemba (known as Croydon Street Precinct)
Council invites you to comment on draft amendment to Canterbury Development Control Plan (DCP) 2012 (Amendment 6).
As background, Council adopted a planning proposal at the Ordinary Council Meeting of 25 September 2018. The planning proposal seeks to amend the height of buildings and floor space ratio controls applying to land at 5-9 Croydon Street, Lakemba.
To ensure consistency with the planning proposal and to guide redevelopment of the Croydon Street Precinct, Council has prepared and is exhibiting draft amendments to Canterbury DCP 2012 (Amendment 6).
The draft amendments and supporting documentation will be on public exhibition from 2 April 2019 to 8 May 2019 and available for viewing at both Bankstown and Campsie Customer Service Centres (9am to 5pm, weekdays, excluding public holidays).
Please note the version uploaded on 2/4/19 was a superseded version of the draft DCP. The current version has now been uploaded (as at 3/4/19). The differences between the two DCP versions are explained in a separate document which can be found in the document library. We have also extended the exhibition period to close on 8th May 2019 to allow more time for comments to be received.
