Background

Canterbury-Bankstown Council authorises a public exhibition on the following proposed lease agreement in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993.

In accordance with section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Council is advertising its intention to grant the following lease as expressly authorised by Council’s Generic Plan of Management

Lease Agreement

Council has conditionally accepted the tender received from Roberts Park Early Learning Centre for the site at 35 Waterloo Road, Greenacre for the management of Roberts Park Child Care Centre, Greenacre and intends to grant the following lease over community land in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993.

The granting of a Lease for the current proposal is consistent with both the core objectives for the land as prescribed by the Local Government Act 1993 and the Plan of Management applicable to the subject land (Council’s Generic Plan of Management).

Permitted Use: Long Day Care Centre

Term: Five (5) years with a further five (5) year option

Lessee: Roberts Park Early Learning Centre
