Background

At the 30 April 2024 ordinary meeting Council authorised a public exhibition on the following proposed Agreement for lease and lease agreement in accordance with the requirements of the Local government Act 1993.

In accordance with section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993 Canterbury-Bankstown Council is advertising its intent to grant the following lease as expressly authorised by the Generic Plan Of Management for community land and Crown land.

Lease Agreement

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1993, Canterbury Bankstown Council is advertising its intention to grant the following lease over community land:

Permitted UseIce Skating Club and associated club house facilities.
TermThe agreement will be a maximum of Twenty One (21) years.

    At the 23 July 2024 Ordinary Meeting, Council has resolved to agree to grant a new three-year Agreement for Lease and a further eighteen-year Lease to The Ice Skating Club of New South Wales Co-operative Limited for 17A Phillips Avenue, Canterbury. See Agenda/Minutes, item 7.1.
