Consultation has concluded

Council invites you to have your say on a Planning Proposal to make a series of minor changes to the Canterbury LEP 2012, commonly known as a ‘housekeeping’ amendment, to rectify issues identified since the making of the LEP.

Proposed changes

Proposed changes include:

  • Adding ‘emergency service facility’ as a permissible use in the RE1 Public Recreation zone.
  • Removing an objective in the B6 Enterprise Corridor Zone.
  • Correcting the description of three heritage items.
  • A number of mapping amendments to correct zoning boundary anomalies and updated land reservation and acquisition details.The NSW Minister for Planning has not delegated the making of this plan to Council.

Public Exhibition

The planning proposal will be on public exhibition from 17 July 2017 to 14 August 2017.
